About

Young and old will enjoy a ride on the Apedale Valley Light Railway. We aim to tell the story of the Industrial Narrow Gauge Railway - unsung heroes of British industrial heritage. Our historic steam and diesel locomotives will take you on a fifteen minute round trip alongside the Apedale Community Country Park. You will travel in coaches once used by Welsh Quarryman and by tourists in Snowdonia.

There is a range of special events throughout the year. These range from Easter Egg Hunts and Teddy Bear's Outings to the May Railway Gala. Browse for gifts in our well stocked shop or maybe call in the cafe at the adjacent Heritage Centre.
