About

The Kings Hall is one of Stoke-on-Trent’s most established and recognisable event venues, located within the historic Stoke Town Hall. Combining traditional Victorian architecture with flexible event space, the venue is particularly well suited to conferences, corporate functions, business meetings, exhibitions, gala dinners, award ceremonies and large-scale networking events.

The venue offers a spacious main hall with an impressive stage area, balcony seating and adaptable floor layouts, allowing organisers to tailor the space for conferences, presentations, product launches or formal dining events.

A key advantage of the venue is its versatility. The hall can be configured for conferences with staging, AV presentation areas and exhibition stands, while adjoining rooms within Stoke Town Hall provide breakout spaces, smaller meeting rooms and hospitality areas for workshops, training sessions or executive meetings. The venue regularly hosts conferences, graduations, business expos, recruitment events and civic functions, demonstrating its suitability for professional and corporate use.

The historic character of the building gives events a distinctive atmosphere that differs from a standard hotel conference suite. High ceilings, period architecture and a large open-plan layout create an impressive setting for formal business occasions, awards evenings and corporate hospitality events. Despite its heritage setting, the venue includes modern event support facilities.

The stunning Kings Hall is a large impressive space within Stoke Town Hall, it is the perfect place to host your next event with two bars, large stage, wooden dance floor and a permanent disco ball!

Over the years the Kings Hall has been home to some of the city's most prestigious events from award evenings, charity balls, graduations, conferences and concerts. Some of the biggest names in history have even took to the stage; The Beatles in 1963 and The Rolling Stones in 1963 along with The Who and ACDC to name a few.

With a capacity of 774 standing and up-to 400 for a dinner dance on the ground floor, with an additional 500 seats on the balcony (no disabled access) which allows for an elevated view the Kings Hall is perfect for your next event!
