About

The Emma Bridgewater factory lies in the heart of the historic Stoke Potteries region, in a sunny Victorian factory on the banks of the Caldon Canal.  Join us on a factory tour, try your hand at decorating a piece of your very own unique pottery, relax for lunch in our beautiful kitchen, or enjoy an afternoon in the garden behind the factory.   We’ve got a gorgeous factory outlet full of your favourite pieces and a lovely gift shop selling our newest designs that stocks a wide range of seconds (slightly imperfect items) and discontinued lines; tableware, cookware and textiles at reduced prices. For the collector or avid fan they have the occasional sample and one off pieces.shop,

Kitchen Cafe:- Serving fresh, simple and tasty food, often inspired by Emma Bridgewater’s own recipes, our cosy cafe is a lovely place to meet with family or friends and relax over a delicious, home cooked lunch or enjoy tea and cakes.

Decorating Studio
Come and decorate a really special present for a best friend or hold a party at our bright and inspiring Decorating Studio attached to the main factory. Perfect for birthdays and school groups and not only for children.    Booking in advance is required.  Time Slot: 1hr 30mins  See costs below

Factory Tours
Come and see even more pottery being made at Emma Bridgewater on our new Factory Tour.  Booking in advance is required.
Tours available: Monday to Friday – 10am and11.30am and Monday to Thursday at 1.30pm.  Tours lasts approximately one hour   See costs below

There are many child-friendly activities, with very helpful and knowledgable staff on hand to help at all times.

Road Directions

From the M6, exit at junction 15 or 16. Then come off the A500 at Stoke and onto the A52 Leek Road. Lichfield Street is on the A50 near The City Centre.  

Public Transport Directions

Bus service 6, 6A every 20 minutes. The nearest railway station is Stoke-on-Trent, which is 2 miles away.
